The Quad Seal Bag, also known as a block bottom, flat bottom, or box pouch, comprises five panels with four vertical seals. When full, the bottom seal flattens out completely into a rectangle, providing a stable, rigid structure that holds its shape in transit and on the shelf. Graphics can be printed on the gussets as well as the front and back panels.
Pack ‘N’ Cycle EL films are recommended for products packaged in this format, which is typically used in large pouch applications. The high elasticity of Pack ‘N’ Cycle EL allows high energy absorption in drop test which provides excellent bag integrity. Additional features include moisture barrier, machinability, and excellent sealing performance. In comparison to standard laminates used for Quad Seal Bags, Pack ‘N’ Cycle EL films are fully recyclable in the PE waste stream.
